Whistler-Blackcomb
January 19-24, 2025
The trip is full. Sign up on the wait list; there might be a vacancy.
Join us for 5 days of weekday skiing at North America’s #1 rated resort. If you haven’t skied Whistler/Blackcomb before, you’re either new to skiing or new to the area. Whether you’re a first-timer or a long-time ski bum, you’ll want to ski the continent’s largest ski resort with the holiday crowds cleared out and reliable January snow.
ACCOMODATIONS: The Listel Hotel, Whistler Village. The Listel is centrally located in the village, within easy walking distance to the lifts as well as bars and restaurants. There is a daily parking charge ($28 + taxes Canadian). As we’ve found out in the past, hotel parking is somewhat limited, so car-pooling is encouraged. If you get a ride with someone, be sure and share costs for gas, etc.
Cost (Prices in US $):
Double occupancy rooms: $515 per person
Single occupancy rooms: $1,001
Non-members add $50 to above costs
Lift passes: You are responsible for your own lift passes. The “full” Epic Pass allows unlimited access to Whistler. The Epic Local Pass allows 10 days of skiing at Whistler (although the 10 day total includes days skied at Vail or Beaver Creek, CO). There are also multi-day Epic Passes available. The walk-up prices for lift tickets are quite high, so you’re much better off purchasing some version of the Epic Pass.
There will be a non-hosted club get-together late Sunday afternoon (1st day). There will also be an optional no-host dinner for trip participants (details to follow).
For those going on the Red Mountain club trip (Jan. 15-18), consider driving west and joining us in Whistler for an extended ski adventure.
Do not use the Pay Later option unless you have prior approval to pay by check.
