Description: Hike through the forests of Eleanor Creek Basin, past Eleanor Lake, to a mile-long meadow full of wildflowers with Mt. Rainier looming above it . . . and now you know why it’s called the Grand Park!
The hike begins from a trailhead located on Forest Service Road 7360.
Bring your camera for this hike. Besides the meadows, the mountain, and the varied flora, deer and elk frequent this area.
Bring a lunch, good hiking boots and, at this time of year, it’s always a good idea to bring some bug spray.
We are open to suggestions for a dinner stop after the hike if the group so desires. Heavy rain cancels.
