The trail winds up the mountain to the summit where we could get a glimpse of Rattlesnake Lake.  Most of the hike is in the trees so we will be sheltered from the periods of rain that is forecast.  The trailhead is just to the east of Rattlesnake Lake, accessed off at I-90 exit 32.  After the hike we can stop at the Pour House in North Bend for libations. Total 3.5 miles and 300 feet of gain.
