YAKIMA RIVER FLOAT

When:  Saturday 10 September 2016:

 

Where:  Put in at Bighorn Campground and take out at Roza Boat Launch

 

Meeting Place and Times:

  • First meeting place is the Issaquah Park and Ride at 7:30am to form carpools
  • Second meeting place is at 10:00am at the Bighorn Campground on Canyon Road just pass MP22.  This is where you will meet up with Don, your trip leader.
  • Be sure to bring sunscreen, water toys, and BYOB.

 

This is very a gentle river rafting float on a Class 0 river (aka a beer float).  Bring your own floating device such as an inflatable kayak or boat, inner tube, multi-person floating island, etc. or you may rent one from our put-in spot at Bighorn.

Optional:  Drive over Friday 09 September 2016 and camp out at Bighorn.  See prices in the linked flyer for camping, parking, and tube rentals.  Camping is $15/night, Parking is $5/day, and float launch is $2.  Don plans on camping Friday night and may leave his truck at the take-out at Roza so we can be ready to float between 10 – 10:30am without needing to shuttle cars.

 

Please register on club express so we know how many to expect at the put-in!!!  RAIN CANCELS – those registered will be notified by Thursday night should rain cancel.
