Hello All! The October session will be on Sunday October 12 at 2:00 PM at the Bel-Red YMCA. The “Y” is 3/10ths mile east of the intersection of Bel-Red Road and 140th on the north side of Bel-Red. Please remember to bring a snack to share, a non-alcoholic drink for yourself and two bucks for the “Y”.
Complete beginners are most welcome, but strongly encouraged to read the first chapter or two of an elementary book on the game. It’s not mandatory, but it’s VERY helpful if you indicate to me that you even MIGHT be coming by the evening of Thursday October 9. Pre-prepared name badges will await you.
The more experienced will have blue-bordered badges with red borders for the less experienced. There will be coaching tables for those with very little experience. If you show up, you get to play, even if I’ve had no notice. Try to give me notice though???
Experienced players who are not coaching will play “Chicago” style - the easiest format there is.
