BURKE GILMAN TRAIL RIDE

EVENING TRAIL RIDE, Ride from Gas Works Park over the Fremont Bridge @ 4th Ave, down Westlake to the Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley St. in S Lake Union. From there we’ll ride back up Westlake, then parallel to W. Commodore Way along the south side of the canal, to the Chittenden Locks @ 3015 NW 54. From there we are on to Golden Gardens Park, 8498 Seaview Pl, NW ?Join us anywhere along the trail route.

Difficulty:
- Green, flat ride mostly on a paved bike trail; some riding in the streets
- Easy to Leisurely, enjoy-the-view pace, 10-12 mph, approximately a 2 hour ride
- Those wanting faster pace or more distance may ride ahead
Description:
- 10 feet wide, multi-purpose paved trail, with restroom stop at the Chittenden Locks.
- Rain cancels
- Refreshments afterwards at a local watering hole
Starting point: Ride from Gas Works Park, 2101 Northlake Way?. Park in the parking lot and look for Sno’Jokes flag.
